Alyse Zwick is a Two-time Emmy-nominated traffic anchor/reporter.  She joined Good Day Tampa Bay as a Traffic Reporter in July 2023.

Prior to joining the team, she worked in news and entertainment in New York City for nearly 20 years and was a breaking news reporter and morning anchor at a local NBC News affiliate in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She began her news career hosting the New York City Veterans Day Parade, which stemmed from her volunteer work with the veterans’ community alongside her grandfather, a decorated World War II veteran.

In 2009, she represented the state of New York as Miss New York for the Miss America Organization and graduated cum laude from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Professional Studies in 2012 with a degree in Communications and Culture.

Alyse started reporting traffic at News 12 New Jersey and worked into a full-time position at Spectrum News NY1, as a Traffic Anchor/Reporter. After four years, she joined the iHeart Media traffic team and worked on Fox 5 New York’s “Good Day New York.” She was nominated for an Emmy for her coverage of the Deadly East River Helicopter Crash in 2018.

She has worked for various news networks and was the arena host for the NHL’s New York Islanders from 2015 to 2019. She then joined the WWE Network as a host and backstage correspondent, covering “This Week in WWE” and Friday Night Smackdown on FOX.

For her work as veteran’s advocate, Alyse has been highly recognized for her dedicated efforts on both state and national levels. She was chosen in 2019 by Start Network and Steven Soderbergh to moderate their Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Leavenworth, a controversial true crime series shining light on analyzing the military system at large. In 2022, she received her second Emmy nomination for her coverage of the New York City Veterans Day Parade.
